Private Wedding Venues on a Quiet Greek Island

Skopelos has no airport, which is part of why it has stayed quieter than the best-known Greek islands. If you want a wedding that feels like it belongs to you and your guests, here is what that looks like with us.
Two venues, one family
The Castello is on Mylos Square, directly beneath the walls of the 13th-century Venetian castle that crowns Skopelos Town. Vrachos is a cliffside terrace about a hundred steps above the old port, with 240° views of the Aegean. Each holds up to 200 guests. Both are ours, run by our own team, and they can only be booked through us.
What private means with us
For an elopement or a micro-wedding of two to twenty people, we close the venue you choose to the public. For a larger wedding, the venue is yours for the evening. Either way, you deal with one family, not a venue plus a planner plus a caterer.
The evening at Vrachos
Skopelos Town faces east, so you will not watch the sun drop into the sea. But that hour at Vrachos has colours of its own: the lights of the town come on below, and the sailing boats come back into the harbour for the night.
Honest about the setting
Both venues are open-air and in Skopelos Town, among our neighbours, which is why every event ends by 1:00 a.m. We explain that in music, the 1 a.m. finish and our neighbours.
Questions worth asking about any private venue
- Is the venue closed to the public for you, or only part of it?
- Who owns and runs it, and who will be there on the day?
- What time does the event have to end?
- Can they show it to you on a video call if you cannot visit first?
We can show you both venues on a video call. Tell us your date and we will take it from there.
